2022 Lifestyle Change and Calorie Counting Plan Week 20 Check-in

20 weeks (141 days) on track with my calorie counting and lifestyle change plan and I’ve officially earned my 5th tank top (that I’m wearing) of the year.

I’ve now been on plan for 20 weeks and as you can see from the weight graph my weight skyrocketed in the last month. This was partially due to our Pascha celebrations which was expected and getting Covid which was not expected but I’ve been back on track for two weeks now and am slowly getting back to last months weight.

So in the last 4 weeks I gained 7.4 lbs and then lost 5.2 lbs with no inch change across my body. This puts me at a loss of 15.7 lbs in twenty weeks and a total loss of 60.2 lbs since 2015. I’m now 12.2 lbs away from my lowest weight of 157.6 lbs in May of 2018 and my current short-term goal is 165 lbs (short-term goals are in 5 lb increments). I’m also 2.2 lbs away from my pre-Pascha and Covid weight and hoping to be back to it by the end of May/mid-June.

I’m still keeping up with my New Year resolutions of sticking with my weight-loss plan, hitting a minimum of 5,000 steps a day (except for days missed due to Covid) and meditating for 10 minutes a day.

My Saturdays are still more relaxed with calories than other days but it’s much more under control than it was last month.

My PT plan is on hold until I meet with the neurosurgeons on the 31st and see what they think but my preference is definitely physical therapy over any type of surgery.

My 2022 Lifestyle Change and Calorie Counting Plan focuses on 1200-1225 calories a day with 2-3 meals, no snacks, keeping an eye on macros and at least 5,000 steps a day. No foods are considered “bad” and everything is an option in moderation.

I’ll be weighing in weekly and taking progress photos and measurements every 30 days with a new tank top.
