4 Week Low Carb and Calorie Counting Plan Check-In...

4 weeks on my 2022 Low Carb Calorie Counting and Lifestyle Change Plan and I’ve officially earned my 1st reward tank top.

These past four weeks have shown me that low carb is definitely the right plan for me; my headaches and joint pain have significantly decreased, I have more energy, my skin looks clearer and healthier and everything hurts less except maybe my back. There’s days the back feels great and days it hurts horribly but since I was able to begin working out this past week I’m calling it a win. I’m also eating a lot healthier with a lot of homemade food instead of processed crap and making much better choices. 

So in the last 4 weeks I’ve lost a total of 9.2 lbs, taken 15 inches off my body😲 and am back in my size 8 jeans! I’m also in the overweight BMI now instead of the obese.

I’m sticking with all of my daily goals: following my weight-loss plan, meditating for 10 minutes and getting in at least 5,000 steps unless my back really needs a day off. 

As of today I’m down to 165.8 lbs. This puts me at a loss of 9.2 lbs in four weeks and a total loss of 64.2 lbs since 2015. I’m now 8.2 lbs away from my lowest weight of 157.6 lbs in May of 2018 and my current short-term goal is still 165 lbs (short-term goals are in 5 lb increments).

I'm taking lunch off from the low carb plan today to have some take out pizza but that's the only off-plan food I have planned and after that I’m right back to low carb!

My updated 2022 Lifestyle Change and Calorie Counting Plan focuses on 1200-1225 calories a day (more on exercise days) with 2-3 meals with minimal snacks, a focus on low healthy carbs with minimal processed foods and sugar and at least 5,000 steps a day.

I’ll be weighing in weekly and taking progress photos and measurements every 4 weeks with a new tank top or whatever else I might pick as a reward.
