16 weeks (113 days) on track with my calorie counting and lifestyle change plan and I’ve officially earned my 4th tank top (that I’m wearing) of the year.

I’ve now been on plan for 16 weeks and these past 4 weeks the scale has done nothing but go up and down after week 13 which is incredibly frustrating but I have a plan to deal with it.

So in the last 4 weeks I lost 2.2 lbs and 3 inches across my body which isn’t bad for inches at all. This puts me at a loss of 17.9 lbs in sixteen weeks and a total loss of 62.4 lbs since 2015. I’m now 10 lbs away from my lowest weight of 157.6 lbs in May of 2018 and my current short-term goal is 165 lbs (short-term goals are in 5 lb increments).

I’m still keeping up with my New Year resolutions of sticking with my weight-loss plan, hitting a minimum of 5,000 steps a day (except for the one day of steps that I missed due to massive back pain) and meditating for 10 minutes a day.

I managed about 2.5 weeks of home PT on and off and will be returning to a more workout-like home PT plan this coming week as my back allows.

Tomorrow is our Easter which is a huge feast day and between that and needing a kick to my weight loss I’m doing the following: the next 3 days are “free” to enjoy whatever and then I’m spending the rest of the week close to my maintenance calories. Starting next Saturday I’m going back to the lower calories and I’m cutting out the relaxed Saturdays because I think that’s what’s messing with my weight loss.

My 2022 Lifestyle Change and Calorie Counting Plan focuses on 1200-1225 calories a day with 2-3 meals, no snacks, keeping an eye on macros and at least 5,000 steps a day. No foods are considered “bad” and everything is an option in moderation.

I’ll be weighing in weekly and taking progress photos and measurements every 30 days with a new tank top.
